Hi Everybody!
This blog is being created both to celebrate our many years of friendship, and to highlight our pictures and a couple of videos for our London-Middlesex Amazing Race application.
The LMAR is an exciting weekend of competition, and it's a fundraiser for Camp Winston, which is a Muskoka-area camp where kids with complex neurological disorders can spend some time in the summer doing fun camp stuff like water sports and crafts, while feeling included and secure. They also run retreats for the families and friends who love these kids. They get no government funding, and rely 100% on donations. Do check out their website to see what kind of awesome programming they offer, and consider making a donation while you're there!

| This is an old-school selfie (pre-cell phone era!) taken on a beautiful summer day when Heather and I took our dogs to the Pinery for a picnic and day at the beach. This was the day Andy the Italian Greyhound ate Heather's lunch in the back of the van while we drove out there. I think we ended up sharing mine...(2001) |

| This was taken in August, 2009, on our "10 Year Anniversary of Being Friends". Heather planned a whole day around revisiting spots that had been important to us over the years, such as old homes and workplaces. She also brought lots of little items that had significance to each spot. What a great day! |

This photo is from Heather's wedding day!! The photographer took this one before we left for the ceremony. What a beautiful bride!! (2007)
This next one is a video of a song Heather wrote for my 40th birthday in December, 2014. Heather is fantastic at writing songs and poems, and she loves to play guitar and sing!
Here's a picture from last month, when Heather brought her Grade 3/4 class to have a pizza and craft party with my Grade 10s!

Well, I hope this collection gives you a pretty good idea of the friendship that we've had over the last 16 years. We love to have fun, and I think we'd be great competitors in the London Middlesex Amazing Race!!
